Areas of responsibility include advisor relationship teams (support), advisor business transition services, and account services (account opening, funding and servicing)<br/>* Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the SAS business plan and strategic direction of SAS.<br/>* Build and lead an effective, collaborative, and cohesive leadership team through effective communication, coaching, and ongoing leadership development.<br/>* Responsible for ensuring the client services management team clearly understands the company strategy, division strategy, key performance measures, ongoing objectives and hold each management team member accountable for their contribution to drive business results.<br/>* Responsible for first class service to investment advisors and their clients as measured by net-promoter and customer satisfaction index scores.<br/>* Lead in the development and execution of a talent management plan for client service associates. Provide timely and quality feedback for performance management.<br/>* Assist in the design and implementation of products, services, technology, marketing and promotion of advisor services to ensure alignment with the needs of advisors and execution of the business plan and strategy.<br/>* Review and report on key performance measures, strategy, and business objectives to Head of Advisor Services and Executives as needed.<br/>* Represent both Scottrade and Advisor Services at various PR opportunities, industry events and conferences.<br/>* Perform other duties as assigned.<br/>* Responsible for continual review of department structure and process; recommend improvements and/or changes as necessary.<br/><br/>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<br/><br/>* Strong leadership skills and abilities.  Expert in general management knowledge and skills such as departmental goal setting and planning, budgeting and personnel administration.<br/>* Willingness to travel to industry conferences, trade shows, etc.<br/>* Ability to network with industry influencers, and leaders in the Registered Investment Advisor industry that may include members of technology firms, asset management companies, compliance, etc.<br/>* Considerable knowledge of Registered Investment Advisory regulations and compliance; experience with brokerage operations.<br/>* Knowledge of fee-based advisory business.<br/>* Comprehensive understanding of institutional business.<br/>* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers.<br/>* Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization.<br/>* Ability to creatively solve problems and approach situations with a fresh and well thought out perspective.<br/>* Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers or management.<br/>* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Expert level proficiency with Excel.<br/><br/>Education and Experience:<br/><br/>* Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Finance, Economics or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.<br/>* 7+ years Investment Advisory experience required.<br/>* 7+ years leadership experience and 5+ years management experience required.<br/>* Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses required.
